Good camera though and the Canon lens system is awesome. Did you buy any lenses with the body?

Its definately more than dust, unfortunately it looks like a manufacturing fault in the focus screen, which is a user changeable part but as the shop have offered a replacement (and rightly so) I'm using the current unit and will get a brand new one. The manager in the shop is very apologetic and says he'll do everything to get it sorted but they are having issues sourcing a Body only retail pack so I get to use the one I have till then, because the fault is after the sensor its just an annoyance and does not effect the pictures taken (its just annoying ). Oh well I've shot about 1500 exposures already so I'll be like ragging a courtesy car

Lens wise a Sigma 17-70 a 70-200L f4 and a 50mm, its very much a hobby and I'm not really in a position to spend a lot but they cover most things apart from serious zoom stuff

70-200L f4 its not an expectantly long lens but I do love it, its lovely and sharp

It looks like a coffee stain when you look through the view finder so not dust.
