Well yes, i don't think anyone on these forums is deluded enough to think that these companies want to be our friends, it's all about the money. But clearly it wasn't a good financial decision to buy bioshock 2 as an exclusive as they didn't do it, thus reinforcing my opinion that it wouldn't have been a good idea.

Microsoft spend their time looking after and developing the software for Xbox360 updates and Xbox Live, which is done almost flawlessly. They don't need to develop games, they have arguably the strongest production team in Microsoft Game Studios anyway, so they just stick to trusted parties to get the work done like their relationships with Turn10 and Bungie.

See my second post. I was wasted when i wrote that and the point i was trying to make didn't come out right at all.

Yeah, I saw . I thought you originally meant they were the team responsible for the development of games which Sony have done, or by buying up studios and renaming them (like Sony Liverpool).

I understand it now .
