Congratulations on the job offer.

//edit have you thought about seeing if Cotswold can offer you something similar? I'm not sure how you'd broach the subject but it might be worth your while to see if they are willing to offer you better terms.

Cotswold pay virtually minimum wage. Even if they increased it, they won't match Bluewater Blacks as the Bluewater store in particular are on the highest Blacks pay band.

Just to say congratulations, but is all that travelling not going to drive you nuts in the end? 2 hours each way is quite a chunk of the day.

I actually quite miss the travelling
I just use the time to chill out with podcasts, games, McDonalds, etc

I couldn't do two hours travelling each way but then I am past all that. Takes me 2 hours & 5 mins to get to my daughters so I know the journey well. To do that for work would be a nightmare & I'd fall asleep on the way home. Travel to work is unpaid over time & you'll be doing 20 hours a week, On top of that those 20 hours travelling will put a big strain on you mentally & physically.
You're young though so I'm sure you'll cope if it's what you want to do, Good luck to you.

Thanks guys.

As I still don't really know what I want to do with my life in the mid/long term, I'm just focusing on short time and progressing the career ladder asap.

My time is far too precious to spend 4 hours a day commuting, especially for just 5k extra =/

Why not relocate closer to the job if it's a job you want to do for a long period of time (more than 4 months)?
