You didn't actually . Are you just too far away from the exchange then or just have a dirty line?

My attenuation is about 42dB, with SNR between 6 & 10dB. Anyway, I'll have a 10Mbit cable modem come Friday afternoon so I can ditch ADSL and flog my router on eBay.

Cisco 877 but had the same issues with a 3725 with ADSL WIC and a Netgear something-or-other.

Top router that. I'm looking at a pair right now that are going into a couple of remote sites. Advanced IP services as well VLANing and such.

If I hadn't just bought a new VOIP-enabled wireless router I may well have been interested.

SNR of 6 is a little on the low side, but I'm not sure what the lower limit is these days.

6 is fine, anything lower than 5 may cause problems, 4 and below you're bound to have issues.
