Ok but the cars have changed as well, and even if he has raced against the likes of Alonso/Webber, they werent in the cars they are now, with the experience they now have etc.

Yeah, when it's not a Brit walking away with all the bigs pots, it's boring.
To be honest I loved it when my hero wiped the floor with everyone.

That isn't my point. Button has been racing for years, and it was fantastic to see him win races when he has worked so hard for it. Same when Mark Webber won the race two races ago, that was awesome to see. It doesn't matter about the nationality of the racer. Every race hasn't been a dead certain that one person was going to win. Which is what I enjoy about a race and is what I hated about Michael Schumacker racing, as even before the qualifying you knew exactly who was going to win. Not interesting racing.

But it is when you're his biggest fan, which was sort of my point.

Fair enough, I don't see racing as interesting just because one person you want to win, wins, I see racing to be interesting when a driver has to push himself to win, or has been through alot in his racing career, or a fight between a few cars. But each to their own
