Is there any timescale with the cancellation of orange? I've been with them for ~18 months are would greatly prefer a change of contract with less going out each month- I use no where near the minutes I have etc.

Plus I also need a new phone and could use some goodies the same as the next person.

If you've been with them that long you're probably out of contract anyway (unless you got a 24-month deal). Either way, you have 30 days from the time you were notified of the T&C change (probably by text), and most contracts (probably all 'Animal' contracts) taken out up to May this year are affected and thus eligible.

Hmmmm I don't recall receiving a text - might of deleted it in a sleepy state!

I'm sure it is up for renewal in the next month or two; my original K850i is on it's last legs and I certainly want to lower the monthly outgoings.

I'm tempted to go onto Pay as you Go, but I know it will always probably reach around the £15/20 anyway so might as well get a new phone & hopefully some goodies!

What's the process for transferring your number? I've had the same one for ~6 years and to have to change that will be most hassling.

Even more interesting is the news of a possible, significant price drop on the existing 80GB model.
