Cheap point and shoot
My dad's bag was nicked this year when arriving on holiday at Majorca, and in it was his old point and shoot digi camera. He's spotted the Pentax E75 on offer at comet (and most places actually seem to have it at £79.99) Anyone got any opinions on this camera, or alternatives that are as good/better/cheaper?
My google fu skills have turned up no reviews on the E75 of any sustenance so cant get a clear picture... har har. Thank you BD peeps! |

Also interested in a new point and shoot as the Fuji's a bit big for parties etc.

I used to own a pentax camera, and to be honest the build quality just seems rubbish. I'm not harsh with my cameras but it randomly broke twice in my pocket, as well as once when someone knocked it off a table. My mate has owned a pentax as well, totally different model which randomly broke, except he stuck with his decision got another this time apparently waterproof (3m or something) which resultantly broke underwater a few months later on holiday. After all that i really wouldn't bother with their P&S' now days, a *little* bit more money seems to go a long long long way

Yeah I could get you 10% off in-store purchases, it's only a small amount and I would physically be having to buy the camera for you; but 10% off a string of purchases/high price items could be a chunk worth having

Right, just checked ebuyer and saw a samsung s1060 which seems reasonable at £75... Anyone got any opinions??
but also saw SAMSUNG L301 in comet which felt nice - £99 though, but 12 Megpixel (I'm wondering if thats too much for my dads PC to happily view the pictures from though) Last edited by Pickers; 06-08-2009 at 17:48. |
