I'm still working my way through inFamous. I'm about 2-3 hours in and I still dunno if I like it or not. I don't find myself overly enjoying it but at the same time I'm not bored by it. I have went down the Good route. I hear the Evil powers are better?
I'll plod along. Something with it might click with me eventually |

@Streeteh I have both, and they're good games, but splosion man is better value - the single player campaign is 50 levels, not small levels either, and the 50 (4 player co-op) multiplayer levels are different still.

Cool, looks like that's my mind made up then, thanks for the feedback.
They're... different. I would say for sheer mass destruction the Evil side is better, however for powerful attacks on a single enemy Good is the one to go for. Evil powers are all about area of effect damage, the grenades for example turn into cluster bombs on impact. I'd say good is easier however as many of his moves regenerate health and energy whereas the Evil side relies on outside sources of electricity which can be scarce at some points in the game. Also the police don't like you if you're evil which can make matters more difficult at times.

Today I finished Monkey Island and then ran through it a second time for the 3 hour achievement (did it in c. 1h 50m). I really loved the new voice acting and art and can't wait to see what Lucas Arts throws at us next. I bought Rock Band 2 for £23 and after a few hours I'm starting to agree with others here that it is better than GH:WT. The only problem is my newish GH:WT guitar is starting to have a temperemental orange button; might have to get it replaced. Either way, this will see me nicely through to the release of Rock Band Beatles. Still playing Red Faction: Guerilla and loving it. Lots to do, amazing destuction and one of my games of the year. Feels like a better, more varied Just Cause set on Mars with destruction ala Battlefield: BC +++. I also had a few multiplayer games and had a blast. |

I got the third rock band come through the post this morning .... so far I've managed 90% of a song. Keep messing on the step-on/off note combo's. It will come, I started on 60% completion. Never actually played this stuff before.
Also fired up Condemned. Quite impressed thus far. One thing that really is impressing me with the xbox is the sound. Hooked up to a proper 5.1 system it's really good. You can hear all the little creaks/clatters and have a good idea of where they are coming from. The little subtle noises add so much. Preferring this to Silent Hill Homecoming so far. |
