That would require installing iTunes on a PC - something I've so far managed to avoid. I want to do some cleanup on them all anyway so I'll do Phone > Outlook > Text File > Address Book > iPhone.
(It was the Address Book step I hadn't figured out in my last post - don't use my Mac enough, obviously) |

Why do people not like iTunes?

I don't have a problem with iTunes, I find it works really well for me, but that's on a Mac and it's traditionally been a bit different on Windows. I really can't explain it but I never found that iTunes worked very well on a Windows box, it's like a lot of Mac users say that Firefox is rubbish on a Mac but can't quantify why they say that.

I use iTunes only when I have to, no real reason just prefer other programs.

I think you might have mistook'd. I suppose I could run Outlook in Parallels, but that seems like a lot of work to me.
Oh, and I don't hate iTunes. I just think iTunes belongs on a Mac. Last edited by Mark; 07-09-2009 at 21:53. |

I've always used it on Windows and my only gripe is that it's fairly sluggish :/
