Default Stuff For Sale...

Hey guys and girls.

We're moving out of our place in about a months time and need to get rid of a lot of furniture here. Just wanted to give you guys first dibs really. Unless stated, it's all in mint condition...

Right... what we have:

Malm Ikea Furniture:

1x King Size Malm Double Bed Oak Veneer £40

1x king size mattress (will look up make in a bit but bought for £350 and we got it reduced from £420 odd. Warranty and all still there I'm sure).

2x Malm Bed Side Cabinets £20

1x Malm Chest of Drawers (6 drawers) £50

Other furniture:

1 x Double Bed (Beach)

1 x Double Mattress (good quality - it's on our spare so hardly used)

1 x Single Mattress

1 x Ikea Oak Veneer Billy Bookcase £15

1 x Ikea Oak Veneer Billy/Benno Cabinet... can't find a piccie online but will measure up and take one of ours when I can

1x Ikea Oak Veneer Benno DVD storage shelf thingy (although I may try and keep this... not sure where but I like it lots)

There's other stuff... like a couple of big mirrors and things but need to speak to Picky about that and what we're keeping and not.

As said, all in mint condition. Will upload own photos at some point and sizing too just thought I would get it up and out there for the second.

Price wise... well a nice offer would be good We're based in Exeter although I could potentially get some of the furniture to Ringwood if it's any easier for people to pick up. We wouldn't be able to deliver.

PM me or message here if you're interested/want more details

Thanks people

If anyone can suggest the means of getting it here, I'd be interested in both the bed side cabinets. Will need to make sure they fit but I doubt that will be a problem.

That chest of drawers would come in handy too but that will be even more of a problem getting here.

Pheebs, if the king mattress goes separately to the bed you may want to make sure the person knows the measurements as Ikea King Size is European which is different to UK King Size.

I found out the hard way!

I need a single mattress for YMF, but it's an awful long way for it!

Judging by this response, anyone know anyone with a big enough van? Exeter to Essex via Newbury works and I'd gladly contribute to the cost.

Will have a word with Vix but depending on this we may be interested in the king size mattress (we've only got a cheap one which Vix doesn't get on with very well). We'd have to collect when we come over your side of the country for Marie's b'day do though as it probably wouldn't be worth a special trip.

lardo - yes the Ikea king size is slightly larger than what we would call King, so our matress leaves a little gap either side - big enough to tuck a nice quilt into
The matress is pocket airsprung I think, neither soft or hard really...

As Clare said, more bits may have to go, for instance I will probably be looking to shift some computer stuff as I'm not really gonna have enough room so want a laptop instead...

I'll show my brother this thread, he's moving into his new place in a week and a half and I think it's mostly unfurnished.

He might be interested in taking a bit/lot of it

will let you know ASAP
