Just got back from my holidays last night and started off where i left off on Uncharted 2 (Chapter 14) and played all the way up to Chapter 24 today. I'll leave the final chapters till tomorrow. A little treat of sorts
I tried to play online and the servers seemed to be having none of it The treasures are also well and truly hidden this time around. For 100 treasures in the game, i have only found 38 so far. A little guide for my second run through me thinks |

Finished Tales of Vesperia earlier. I started in June and the dial reads 104 hours
After struggling to keep going in the middle section I found that the game definately picks up in the final third and has a really enjoyable ending. I've now revised my ranking and it's going into third spot on my 360 jrpg list... Lost Odyssey > Blue Dragon > Tales of Vesperia > Last Remnant > Infinite Undiscovery > Enchanted Arms > Eternal Sonata > Phantasy Star Universe I could stop now but I'm going to try and get the full 1000; so a mop up before starting a new game +. Impressive going there Abooie!
I fancy going back to it once I've got some time so might get a chance later in the week. I've spent the past week playing two games: Suikoden on the PSP (PS1 technically but got it off the US PSN Store) and Uncharted 2. Still love Suikoden as much as I did the first time round although I didn't do a 100% game (messed up something that stopped me from getting all the characters ). I'll definitely go back to it soon though. Wrote a brief retrospective on it for a site while I was at it: http://resolution-magazine.co.uk/con...tion-suikoden/ Uncharted 2 is amazing. Beforehand Batman: Arkham Asylum was my GOTY but Uncharted 2 has bumped it down to 2nd place now, not even sure if MW2 will manage to usurp it. I've only got the last chapter to go on UC2 which I'll be doing shortly, already want to play it again though which is always a good sign! It's not flawless as it does have some minor bugs and weirdness, but it'd be nitpicking to be overly critical about them. Fantastic experience and well worth a look.

Just finished the train section in Uncharted in crushing difficulty, lots of people on ocuk have said it was easy but i think the majority of those are fibbing and have used the exploit for one hit kills. It's not impossible, it's not as difficult as the highest difficulty in Killzone 2 for example (which i have completed) but it is by no means easy.
So far i'd say the game is at its best in Hard, Crushing is just a little too unforgiving.

I'll give it a go on Crushing at some point but I bet it's lethal Not sure if I'd have the patience
Just loading it up to finish it now, I'll be a little sad when I've finished it I think.

Completed it
Nice ending, I won't say any more than 'Clowns?' When the trophy popped, it nearly felt out of place. Detracted from the ending which had entirely sucked me in and momentarily made me forget it was 'just' a game. Awesome game.
