Default LIPS

Is this any good?

My sister wanted Singstar for her birthday so everyone could get drunk and attempt to sing. Seeing as I don't have a PS3, this is the only alternative but I have no idea if it's any good and whether the song selections are half decent or not.

Thanks.

We've got it on the 360 and it's great fun for parties/groups; not a challenging game as such, but perfect for kareoke fun and games

It's great. I got #1 Hits on Friday (took a week to get to me because of royal mail) and it compliments Lips superbly.

Whilst it's a little annoying to have to swap discs to play the original songs (you can't install them) in reality it's quite painless and all my exisiting dlc tracks have come accross without a problem.

The bonus 5 tracks free download was nice too. Lips has always been a firm hit in my house; recommended.

Get #1 hits with the mics and maybe look to pick up the first game solus cheap at some later date.

I didnt think you could buy the original solus (you needed the mics after all)?

It's worth having a shop around for the original in my opinion, we picked it up with 2 mics brand new with another game in a 2 for £30 deal, pretty good considering most places sell an individual Mic for ~£20.

I've seen the new game as a Solus - I hope they implement something to allow a song 'install' like with Rock Band, it seems difficult to have to change discs for different content on the same game

I was thinking since you can get #1 Hits with the mics they'd do a solus but now I've actually thought it through you know, you're quite right...
