Really? I felt it had a much better control system, a far improved and more involved forensic side to it, and more realistic weapons physics.

I'm afraid I have no source for a third part apart from the ending of the second and the anticipation of closure for the story. I'd be amazed if there wasn't a third.

Maybe it was just me but the more controls/moves made it a little bit awkward to handle.

The increase in guns also shifted it back towards the usual FPS style game from which the first only touched on.

I'm not wholly against Condemned 2 but the easiest way to describe my feelings would be to say "I finished it just for the sake of finishing".

I'll admit, I'm another who thought Condemned 2 took everything that was really good about the first game and completely ignored it. It took me a while to really get into the first game but I ended up really disliking Condemned 2 and have still yet to finish it (though I want to).

On the topic of Borderlands, I finally tried it out a bit further with my friend and it was a laugh. He liked it so much he went home and ordered it, so that was cool. His copy should arrive tomorrow and we're gonna play through it in co-op .

When I first started the sequel all I could think was 'what is this gayness?!' when I realised they'd changed the control system, but as I got into the story I really started to enjoy it. The settings were really good as well - the museum level fighting dudes in armour was superb.

Jesus, I didn't realise you two were both so far ahead of me, I've completely lost any desire to score whore and I've been stuck on 72k for absolutely ages now. Don't think I've whored any game in about 4 months, just happy playing stuff like Fifa which is more fun but doesn't give me many points. Maybe I'll get the urge over Christmas when I've got more time free, as I'd still like to hit 80k by the end of the year

I've lost a lot of the urge too tbh. If it wasn't for being laid up the last few months, I doubt I'd have broken 90k by now.

I think I'm getting the buzz more from acquiring review games rather than scorewhoring so I can't be bothered when I do play a game purely for fun.
Having said that I do have the new CSI game to play from Lovefilm but I actually want to play that anyhow!

Ooh I didn't realise that had already been released. I'll have to drop the publishers an email to see if I can get it to review, I love CSI so that would be quite fun to do
