Despite Mrs Dym's scepticism we have a fairly decent blanket of snow in East London
The tube is still running so I'll be heading off to work in 15 minutes If any of my staff fail to make it into work I shall be calling them rude names!

Hmm, I have a good 4 inches (just had to let a rather bemused Patch out so was able to look) but I have a course I am meant to be on today, (which work still have to pay for if I dont turn up) and no way of finding out if its cancelled unless I get to the office which is (on a normal day) a 40 minute drive away.
Not sure what do to, might give it a go and see how I get on. |

We've had no snow since 1am, but it had been snowing since 6am yesterday so there is a fair amount of snow on my estate. Not looking forward to attempting to drive in now
Just waiting on a phone call form my dad to tell me what the main roads are like, although saying that, if I can't even get out of my estate... |

Text my manager (who is stuck in Soton atm); I said I could try walking but it would take an hour or 2 and she said not to try. Just have to wait and see if buses restart (got local radio is boring :/ ) but there is more snow and worsening weather predicted for 9am onwards - I may be staying home today

Work is cancelled! I can't even get out of Nailsea because cars stuck in the snow are blocking the road according to the local radio!
I rang one of the people at work and he said he is heading in (he only lives round the corner) because he needs to negotiate with the people doing the course so that we don't get charged again. I need to do the course as part of my job so it will have to just get rearranged. Now I have no one to have a snowball fight with though, cos its only me and my parents here! |
