I thought it had it after it said Ross Brawn and when I said no, it asked if he was associated with the colour red...

Well it works based on other peoples previous answers, so someone has told it that before.

All you have to do to beat it is pick someone sufficiently random that hardly anyone else will have tried it before and so isn't in the database
