It's not just your local council. I pass about 5-6 pot holes on my route to work every day and about a week or two back 3 or 4 of them were filled. And yep, you guessed it, all the filling seems to have gone again and now they're almost back to how they were before. How hard can it be to fill a hole and make it stay there?

This particular road, i'm not kidding, there are literally 20ish potholes in the space of about a mile and a half, its like one chicane after another the way you have to weave about on the road and hope nothing is coming the other way. Gawd knows why they can't do it properly!

Sucks about your route Kitten, a week with a journey twice as long as usual was bad enough, months would drive me insane.

They aren't supposed to do them until it warms up apparently, something to do with freezing temps mucking up the filler and stopping it from setting properly? I dunno, but they seem to be doing it anyway.
