Booking a holiday away on the cheap?
Right so i've got a lot of people around me wanting to go away this year and general consensus is Ayia Napa, for many obvious reasons. Or really probably anywhere of a similar (stupid ) nature. Now i'm not a fan of paying over the odds, like i did last year badly, and if i leave it totally up to someone else odds are that'll happen again this year!
What/where/how should i be looking to book around june-ish? Me thinks i need to talk to Leon possibly hoping he has some inside knowledge stored up in his head from his travel agent days! Only real things are, around a week, and as cheap as sensibly possible i'd assume i'm looking at £300 figure really though. My mates booked all inclusive (always a bad idea i know) last year for over £400 and then they basically, and predictably ate out almost every night. Year before that i did manage flights to Tenerife for £200 and we managed to sneak an extra person in per room saving hotel costs, but this was with other more devious friends |

look at holiday-lettings.co.uk, they usually have some stupidly cheap apartments on there (we paid £99 for a week in Spain) and then book sleazyjet flights for a pittance. Cost us £200 for the two of us and as it's an apartment plenty of opportunity to make beans on toast or noodles every night and stock up on beer before you go out. Easy

Ayia Napa is not cheap, it is not cheap to get there and is certainly not cheap once there
having said that I really like the place as long as you avoid peak season |

I thought Ayia Napa was really easy to get to from the airport (Larnaca), and Cyprus prices were really low - obviously bit higher in the touristy areas, but nothing expensive.
Oooh BBx, will check that site out.

Woo no results as of yet, but flights can be had from £160 to £300ish direct depending on manchester of glasgow airport, cheaper from manc by far but its out that way for quite a few up here obv... Bus is 10 euro return from airport to ayia napa. Where to stay is the biggest sticking point right now.
On one had there are villa's (cheers kitten ) for say £600 for the week that sleeps 6 on just hopefully minutes away from nissi beach which i think is good enough easily. This is without really looking around though, i'm overwhelmed by travel sites atm for apartments/hotels/villas all at different rates with different room occupancies and different locations etc. etc... Loads of different review sites all giving different opinions! But were getting somewhere now |
