Is there such a thing as a good, generic mobile phone holder/cradle
I change my phone every 12 months at the moment, and I'd like to have all of them somehow cradled in the car for easy control of bluetooth music/chatting/satnav. Trouble is, my early experiences of generic mobile phone holders/cradles has left me with the impression that while the concept is good, the implementations are poor - ie, dont hold the phone very well, obscure the touchscreen, arent sturdy enough.
Is that thinking still valid, or is there some really good kit out that which is smartphone friendly?

Look at the Brodit stuff. It isn't necessarily the cheapest but they're well made and do the job well.

Would go Brodit as well, comes in two parts. The pro-clip clips on the the car and is manufactured for each specific car. On to this you bolt the phone holder. Initially you'll be spending around £30 but each time you change phone you'll only be paying around £15 for the specific phone holder. I won't use anything else now.

I use a Bury UNI System 8 in my car - probably not much use to you unless you want it hardwired in. Car came with it though so not complaining.

Is there really need for that many phones in your car at any one time??

Sadly, yours isn't mine. But if you stopped writing about other things and made this your signature, yours could be like mine. Look down, back up. Where are you? You're on Boat Drinks, reading the signature your signature could be like. I'm on a computer. |
