Clerks II
WHAT A GREAT FILM!
Not going to go on too much about it as it's only just been released but imho it's up there with Kevins best. It's also up there with the best films of the year tbh. Rosario is very, VERY good in it. Jeff and Brian as Randal and Dante are their usual warped selves *you've never gone ass to mouth?* and also raised their game - and they still work together so well. Jay is sober and tbh - looks fantastic... although more of him is seen than is really necessary - although the ladies may like it... Elias adds some comedy with his obscession with Lord of the Rings Ignore Jonathan Woss and his innate hatred of anything Kevin has done - as he pretty much said on Film 2006 he disliked Clarks *It's Clerks you tosspot* and called the other 4 Kevin Smith films dreadful.... and also stated that he has no decernable talent at writing, directing, editing or acting. Wow...so you went in with an open mind then Wossy? Check out 90% of the the other reviews that have said that it's a good film *including the one on the BBC's own web site...* and go see it. The soundtrack is pretty cool as well. It's not for the easily offended though. Simon/~Flibster

I can't wait to go see this! Saw it advertised last night so I plan to see it and then buy it when it comes out on DVD (I have all the other Kevin Smith / View Askew movies!)
Looks really funny - classic stuff

Buy a decent cheap dvd player then.
OR Send it to me then and I'll provide a region free version. Simon/~Flibster *who already has his pre-order in*

I think I said as much at the other place but it is a great film, maybe not quite as good as the original for some of the dialogue and the tone is rather different to what I expected but I really enjoyed it. Somehow Rosario Dawson manages to make a fast food uniform look good
