Fortunately I know this person well enough to know that "Life is so rubbish" usually means she can't have what she wants for dinner

A company I applied to the grad scheme of who never even responded just sent me a Newsletter.

Nice to know they can find the time to add me to a mailing list but not even have the courtesy to respond to a job application.

ALSO

8 months ago they completely resurfaced the main road here, probably at massive cost, for the first time in about 20 years, was quite nice.

Then, a few weeks later decided they didn't want the cycle lanes the way they had them, tried to remove the paint and ruined various parts of the surface.

Now, 8 months later, they are about to dig the whole lot up again for some gas works. Great.

How about when people say 'The Internet' when asked where they got something from. Both our mums are culprits of this, although my mum is cringingly worse by saying 'The Website'.

It's the equivalent of just saying the name of the town that you bought something from. 'Where did you get your TV from?' 'Leeds'. It annoys me

People who have kids and then spend all their time on facebook moaning about them.

Kids are a priviledge not a right, and if theyre "doing your head in" etc, then you should have thought about that before you had them. Oh and moaning they're being a pain, why don't you take them out and actually DO something with them.

And no this doesn't apply to anyone on here!

Just kind of felt that way because i'm not a parent, so can't fully get how hard it is sometimes. Fairly sure I wouldn't be moaning though
