That was ridiculous (in a good way!) - you were ahead by 8 points and I had two letters left; R and L. I needed to use both and potentially get all 8 points to win (any points your opponent has left are deducted from their score and added to yours so you can never tell how close you need to be unless you've been counting the letters used throughout the game). There was no way I could play both letters anywhere so had to use just one, giving you another go. My only hope was that you couldn't muster enough points on that go to make up the difference. Even though you got a respectable 8 at that stage in the game I just managed it by one or two points.

Was mopping my brow after that one!
