I had quite a few goes where I had few chances to make any decent words so I employed the tactic of keeping the game hemmed in to one area to keep you away from areas with high scoring opportunities. I think it has helped but I don't think I have too many opportunities to claw back the deficit. Most of the game so far has been damage limitation for me, presenting few opportunities for attacking play.

Will handed me my second defeat this morning with some style. Every time I came up with a decent word to close the gap, Will would come back with a better one - I was on the back foot for most of the game.

I had a lucky run of letters with good positioning for the triple word scores etc... It's a good match up!

I just used all 7 letters twice on the trot against the same person, second time was 'regality' on a TW for 104 points

I'm really having fun with this now, I used to play Scrabble a fair bit and I'm slowly remembering tricks and tactics and handy words. The shake to shuffle the tiles really helps as well.

Stan and Will are demons though, very very good
