Ok so technically by dictionary definitions it being their birthday isn't necessarily incorrect, but they aren't 70... they're dead!

Just went to put the micro sim in my old phone using the lil carrier they supply so I could get all my contacts off. Instead some of the connectors which register the sim broke off when I took old sim out (old phone is old) so now it won't pick up any sim at all :/
I have 25-30 days before my current number gets moved over to new phone and its dead until then.
And I'm still gonna have to type all contacts in manually :/

People who say 'was' when they should be saying 'were'. Someone was doing this repeatedly a few nights ago on TV and it drove me nuts!!!

Also 'beat' not 'beaten'. There's a huge ad campaign for someone (plusnet?) and it says 'we can't be beat on price'. No, but you can be beaten soundly around the head with the OED for incorrect usage of the English Language. I'd never go with them on principle for that.

And Marie, yes! I was in the flix last week next to someone who sounded like Darth Vadar with a respirator.

I had to sit next to her on a course all day today. She would hold her breath for like 20 - 30 seconds, and then exhale very loudly out of her nose. It was driving me nuts.

When you book a ticket to a gig and hunt around for the best seat left... days later they release MORE dates with better seats!!!

Booking train tickets.... Public transport is effing ridiculous. A train ticket to Notts is £50 on Monday (open return) wasn't available last night so had to buy the next best thing for £47 and change at Grantham!

I HATE public transport and their unjustified prices!!!!
