Just got a Panasonic DVD player & 5.1 surround sound centre with an IPod dock so I'm doing some films.

Red Rose - Stephen King. Some freaky **** this was with stuff creeping up behind me. Good story though but it does fade towards the end. Well worth a watch though if you have a good few hours to kill & want to get goose bumps & jump out ya skin.

Gran Tourino - Clint Eastwood. I watched this a while back but have since bought a copy & I suggest anybody that hasn't seen it to do so as it's more than a film it's a work of art.

I'll be back as I've borrowed about 15 films off mates to test drive me new set up with.

Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll - fab film. Really glad I bought it. Uplifting but poignant at the same time and some funny moments too.

Yeah Rango was funny. Bit too much story not enough payoff for me, but funny. And the eyes! the detail was amazing!,

Now, Limitless.

In a word - Fabulous! Very different, very smart, very well done. This movie is going to be synonymous with Cooper's name - he IS the film, and it's really going to propel him into being *the* hottest property around! I loved it - 9.5/10.

The Fly

Quote:
The Fly

Prepare yourself to witness a fusion of man and insect that has to be experienced to be believed! Dr Seth Brundle plays fast and loose with the laws of nature. Experimenting with "live" matter transmission. The day comes to test the ultimate guinea pig... himself! But that's the day the fly gets into the works and his DNA, genes and molecules are interwoven with that of the insect. Brundle watches helplessly as he is transformed step by step into a living, grotesque mutant - incredibly agile, super strong and driven by insane appetites he cannot control.

6/10
always wanted to watch this, so many times I tried staying up late to watch this as a kid, but never watched all of it. Either by being caught or falling asleep. It was on Film4 the other day and just watched it. Was actually really surprised. It's a pretty darn good movie which keeps you intrigued.
