Tell me about it. The amount of times I go past someone on the motorway only to find that a few seconds later they want to come back past again and then sit in front of me is ridiculous. Thing is, I'm usually using cruise control so I know my speed hasn't changed at all yet they get in front and then slow back down meaning I now have to pass again

I had someone sat in the outside lane of a dual carriageway doing 40, when he pulled over, I accelerated to go round him, at which point he sped up and then parked himself in the boot of the car in front so I couldn't get into the inside lane (because the dual carriageway bit was ending and going into one lane) He had sat there doing 40 for about a mile, but didn't seem to then want let anyone round him.

People who you know are posting on the internet with a laptop/PC, yet they still insist on using terms such as "Ur" and "2mor" and writing such sentences (I use the term loosely) as "how r u? i was talking bot u the otha day". Hope I haven't offended anyone here I don't think any of you do it

Similarly, I get annoyed when I pull into the right lane to let somebody join a dual carriageway or motorway. They then proceed to match my speed exactly, leaving me stuck in the outside lane getting annoyed at their gormless driving face and either having to speed up or slow down to get past the bugger.

I do that but only when I am on my phone.

I try not to though...

My stepdad is one of those less-than-speed-limit drivers. Force of habit as a result of years of driving for a living perhaps. He does at least try to get out of the way if someone wants past, and doesn't get the rage when they do.

The converse of the points raised above being people who decide they want to park themselves in his boot because he's not driving fast enough for their taste.

I had this on my 2nd driving lesson - talk about intimidating! (This was the lesson on a sunny saturday afternoon back and forth along the seafront so I was also faced with dogs, prams, cyclists, frizzbes, balloons ... )

What I hate is when you are on the Mway and trying to drive correctly. You overtake a lorry, you pull back into the left hand lane, but the knob behind you just speeds up a bit, until they are alongside you. You then reach the next lorry and need to overtake, but you can't because the knob behind you has blocked you in, so you have to either floor it and undertake them to get in front, or slow down and pull out behind them.

I admit I usually lose my patience after a couple of knobs have blocked me in and become a standard middle lane hog, not pulling over for anybody. However, I still don't block in those who do pull over.
