OcUK Delivery
Does anyone know if OcUK post the same day (ie: unlike Amazon).
If I order some memory today, and pay '1st class', will they send it in enough time for RM to deliver by Saturday? I don't mind paying £3-£4 delivery but £7 to get it tomorrow seems steep, it's not exactly heavy/large! Thanks. |

Do you not have a forum account you can link up for free delivery? Might be easier

A ocuk forum acc? Possibly a very ancient one from 6-7 years ago at Uni, does that work like the scan thing with hexus? Except there you need about 20 non-spam posts.

If you order early enough, they usually will send it on the same day. Not sure what the criteria are for free delivery re forum posts etc. but chances are, with an item as small as RAM, they wouldn't send it next day anyway. I'm pretty sure the last time I ordered something small, the sent it 1st Class.

The free delivery option was something like 250 posts, last I checked. It'll come 1st class, and the cut-off is somewhere around 3-4pm, but earlier is better.

Cheers all, placed and should be with me tomorrow
Did manage to sign up, took a dozen attempts and about 50 of those pictures or captchas though, they're terrible and even when they look okay don't seem to validate! |

I have to admit, their service has been exceptional lately for me. I ordered a new hard drive from them on Saturday around 1pm, and I had it by 12:30pm on Monday. Can't get much better than that!

Arrived today Not overly impressed with the rather thin bubble bag, but appears in one piece which is always advantageous so pretty happy with that.
/me recommends. |
