Irrational things that annoy you (and non irrational things too come to think of it)

In my teacher training course (yeah, don't ask), we've just delivered presentations as part of an assessment, and all got to watch each others.

Spelling and grammar on some of them was terrible. The old random apostrophe, century spelt 'centry', and 'auditory' spelt 'auditary' were just a few.

Imagine my horror when too late I discovered I had typed 'if' instead of 'of' - I skipped that slide quite quickly!!!

By the way, I've had a celebratory/ medicinal whisky so any spelling and grammar errors tonight can go boil their heads.

I mean... once again... really!?? Do you really want to remember your loved one where they were mangled in a car crash?! I think it's horrible. Plus, taping flowers to a lamp post and leaving them there to wilt and die. It's all a bit grotesque looking to me!!

People who know nothing but think they know stuff and make themselves look dumb by mouthing off.

I've just been to Snetterton to watch some filming of classic F1 cars and there was a woman whining about them being 'too quiet' as though they were supposed to be haring round at full race pace. The funniest bit was when she referred to the filming car as 'that Scooby' (means Subaru) when it was actually an Evo. People started sniggering and walking off at that point.

Reading up on the local candidates for tomorrows local elections. Annoying because they are boring, irrational because well..... how else am I supposed to make a (semi) informed decision!

The fact that my twitter on my iphone won't rotate sideways when I turn the phone horizontally. Facebook does, everything else does, but twitter doesn't, tres annoying (and irrational)

Which is odd, because everything on Twatter is so lateral.

It's the 'prove you're the maddest, most lateral-thinking, zany one in the office' platform where everyone wishes they were the people they follow.
