I expect most people don't move over through nothing more than a complete lack of awareness sadly

This is true. I don't know how many times I have been in the left hand lane on a motorway and someone stays in the middle lane, overtaking at 1mph difference or so and I'm approaching a slow moving lorry in my lane, there's nothing in the overtaking lane and yet they sit there, oblivious to the fact that they're blocking me in. I put my indicators on to show that I need to pull out, nothing. In the end I have to either accelerate and cut them up, or brake and pull out behind them (although there's usually a whole line of muppets all cruising along in the middle lane behind them).
my preferenc is to cut them up. It's childish and possible a little dangerous, but it usually focusses their mind back on the task of driving for a while, which is no bad thing. Plus I don;t see why I should have to slow down because of some pig ignorant moron who thinks the left hand lane is for lorries and the overtaking lane is for sports cars. |

I can't decide whether this is rational or irrational...
That Felix Baumgartner has set all manner of records (highest freefall, fastest freefall and unofficially the highest manned balloon flight ever) for his amazing jump and yet when I looked on the BBC earlier the fact that he's set a YouTube record features much higher up on the read items. What is wrong with the world?

That's probably just because that's the only one that has been on the front page today, the 'normal' stories pretty much locked out the top 4 most read spots for all of last night.

People thinking it's OK to use your buzzer (on this occasion at 09:30 on Sunday morning - I was already up but that isn't the point) to ask to get let in to a block of flats because the person they are after isn't answering.
There is a reason why we don't have our 'services' button enabled, we don't want people who we don't know getting in from the street (we have a seating area with a sofa, bookshelf & books, pictures hung up and a storage area for bikes which aren't locked with bike locks). This person only moved in 2 days ago, hopefully it isn't a habit they're going to get in to. I think what annoyed me most was how long she held the buzzer for: she pressed and held it down for about 4 seconds...... my buzzer is very loud and I was sat under it at the time |

Ooh! Or you could say 'no I can't let you in but I will go wake your friend up' and then go round with said fog horn and BLAAAARRRRGGGGGHHHH til they wake up.

Great suggestion Though I'm fairly sure he wasn't in, that's why he wasn't answering.
