Recruitment agencies that don't read my requirements and waste my bloody time. Sure I've said this before but it seems to be getting worse lately.

Trains are still bugging me and so are the stupid displays, especially when it says 3 minutes to go to the next train and then not even 10 seconds later the announcer states that the train is delayed and will be in at 08:06 (6 minutes away). Incidentally it didn't show up until it was a further 3 minutes late... I don't know how difficult it is to run a train network but surely getting the timing right for telling passengers is relatively straightforward - really I'd much prefer to be told the truth about when the train is due than constantly lied to to suggest it's always only a couple of minutes away, at least if I know the truth I've got the choice of trying to make alternative arrangements if I need/want to rather than wait around for the train that's always just about to arrive.
The best excuse I've heard so far from a driver on my now seemingly periennally late train is "sorry for the delay to your journey but the rails are slippery" - it wouldn't be so bad but there had been a light drizzle at worst that morning and the other trains were still thundering through as normal. Still to give him credit he did at least apologise, they normally don't bother even to do that. My annoyance tonight was jamming my thumb between the weight and the securing collar so I've now got a sore thumb - my own stupidity but it doesn't half sting when I jar it at all.

There should be a separate queue at coffee shops for those who are just getting 'coffee'. All I want is an Americano. Two shots of coffee in a cup with water. Not only do I have to queue behind people ordering frothy half-caf soy vanilla lattes for ten minutes before my 30 second drink is made, but almost certainly I'll have to do so again as they stand at the next section pouring in various sugars and powders, and sometimes even more milk.
The other day I had to wait after a girl ordered a blended ice smoothie at 8:30am in December. I died a little that day.

^^ I suggested that at our local coffee shop (which also does food) and they have implemented the coffee only queue and you no longer have to queue twice if you are getting food (once to order food, once to pay while it goes cold) and you don't have to wait if you just want a coffee.
Imagine the fun if there were two queues in your scenario? How many people would stand in the coffee queue when they were ordering a triple shot soy chai cinammon cappu demi semi froth extra hot?
