Nice tips I'll have to do that soon, windscreen's a mess.
Whole car needs a clean really but that's not happening for a while yet.

Holy over complication Batman.
Just screech up outside your local Chippy, Rush in and shout Boatdrinks Emergency and grab the vinegar and a piece of that white paper they have.
Aplly said Vinegar liberally all over and wipe it frantically with the paper.
Return to the shop looking over relieved saying Thanks and telling them you really don't know what you would have done without them

It's the acid in the vinegar that does the job, citric acid works fine too. Adding fairy liquid is good as that lowers the surface tension i.e. grit and much can't bond to the screen/objects as well. Often it's just the wiper blades that need a bit of TLC.

It sounds like they got it all shoved back in their face - nicely done!

You wait til you are told that they won't allow you to drive your car off the forecourt because its so dangerous!

Then drive it to a proper garage and they pass the car first time with not one of the mentioned 'faults'. Stupid Renault!
