Boxster may be a little gay, but it does hold about 70% of its value over 3 years and corners and goes beautifully.

And I love the way the Coupe looks, its a personal thing I guess. Cheap as well.

I like the S3 - I've driven my Aunts when she had one, it was the turbo'ed version as opposed to the "S-line" 3.2L V6 jobbies they seem to have now. Awesome machine. Plus it's not FWD which is always a bonus

True but the Haldex limited slip coupling is pretty damn good. Some would argue that it's better than a full on AWD system.

Mondeo ST220? Gorgeous cars, practical, quick (6.8 to 60 in the real world) and lovely v6 noise to go with it. £18k brand new from a broker IIRC, so a s/h example ought to be WELL under budget.

Why not consider the slightly older cars and earn a bit of respect too...

Ahem:

Or a Nissan Skyline or Nissan 200sx s14a?

Sounds like he was bloody unlucky then, thats by no means typical according to the owners club.

I'm still lusting over an S3, this is a bad sign, usually when I get an idea in my head to buy something, it either gets forgotten about reasonably fast or I get obsessive :undecided:

A company over the other side of the M25 have one in Nargaro Blue with less than 40k on the clock for under £15k.

Colour may not be to everyones taste but this is what it looks like, its got black leather not cream though.

If they still have it at the weekend might go and have a look
