Default Band of brothers

I watch this because I love the history behind war. Im not a lover of war, but I find military history fascinating. Anyway, when I watch the episodes, no matter what mood I'm in before hand, I'm always sombre and deep in thought after.

Anyone else here watch it and feel the same after?

I have a confession...

I own the knapsack dvd version of this - and haven't even opened it.
It's on my list of things to watch, but I've never got round to it.

I always wanted the knapsack version but I could only get the tin. Brilliant series. I can't imagine not feeling as you did after. The thing that makes it is the interviews with the actual people. It really brings it home.

It's superb, one of the many things I've watched on download and then bought the original. Every now and then I get the urge to sit and watch the whole thing and usually do it over about a week but I find it very difficult not to simply put the next disc in after the previous one has finished and just keep going.

Probably one of my favourite TV Dramas/Movies, very moving and touching, with a bit of comedy thrown in there

All for only £20 odd these days, cant not buy it!

finished watching the series the other day, very good but can be hard going in parts (Bastone medic based ep springs to mind!). Excellent series though, very much worth buying on DVD, £20 is a bargain!

Curious - what was different in the knapsack version. I've never seen this, though everyone says it's tops.
