Default My New Intel Rig

what do you think of the specs ?

Intel Core 2 Duo E6600, Socket 775, 2.4 GHz, 1066MHz FSB, Conroe Core, 4MB Cache, Retail
Asus P5B Deluxe/WiFi-AP iP965, S775, PCI-E (x16), DDR2 533/667/800, SATA II, SATA RAID, ATX
2GB (2x1GB) CorsairTwinX XMS2 Dominator,DDR2 PC2-6400,240 Pins, NonECC Unbuffered, CAS 4-4-4-12, EPP

That should shift, just a bit. Being a non-overclocker, I'm not sure what sort of overclocking potential the E6600 has, but generally you can clock the crap out of C2D chips.

Well, the board appears to support Crossfire, so that opens up some options.

Are you going to be trying to overclock? If so you might want to get a good CPU cooler, a Tuniq Tower or Scythe Ninja come highly recommended. In theory if you have a good chip and cooler you should be able to reach 3.6ghz without running the Ram out of specification (9x400mhz, being the multiplier of the CPU x Ram actual speed).

Ive got watercooling here

Minor change to the specs: Asus Commando i965 motherboard
