External 1.8" 5mm HDD box anywhere?
As my MP3 player died I've decided to strip the hard drive out.
Can't seem to find a external case that works with 5mm thick drives though. Anyone's googlefu working better than mine? Simon/~Flibster

You'll be lucky.
You can get 'em for 2.5in (laptop sized), but never seen anything smaller. |

You can get 1.8" cases for 9.5mm and 12.5mm drives - not seen any for 5mm though.

How thick are iPod drives? My mate has a busted one in his bits box.

Dunno. The drive is the only bit that survived in my iAudio.
However - a 30gb pocket sized usb hdd would be very usefull for me. Simon/~Flibster
