You can still do everything once the MQ is done. Only thing changes is no more random oblivion gates out in the wilderness which is nice in that you don't randomly run into big ugly hell creatures who want to eat you, but bad in that you can't pop in for a bit of otherworldly loot and a daedra heart or two.

Just read about a new expansion pack for Oblivion, The Shivering Isles, should add around 30 hrs of gameplay and 10 achievements. Looks like it could be good, but not sure about the price (2400 points for the 360 version
 ), it's out 27th March.
