Is that the Kwak Z750? If so lush bike!

When Burble and I sort our bike situation out we'll DEFINITELY have to do a proper bikers meet

It is indeed. I'll have to do a lot of saving if I decide to get one though, £3.5k for one of them really. I think I want one though

I can ride dad's TDM for a good six months or so if I choose to, so there's no real hurry other than the fact I want my own bike.

The others on the list are:

Bandit 600/650 - doubtful though, they just don't appeal to me a huge amount.

Hornet 600 - nyum nyum.

Husqvarna 610 supermoto - eee! I want one! BUT reasonably expensive and fairly useless practicality wise, plus the plod love to pull motards over.

BMW 650GS - I'd love one, but probably too tall a seat for me while I'm a new rider. Tippy toes job almost.

Fazer 600 - I like these, definitely high up the list.

Nice one Rob. My first lid was a Lazer. Mine was a bit of a budget hat in hindsight but saying that it did last me 3 years, it was comfy 'til the end and withstood a right proper beating

All lids are safe enough, and brand and stickers doesn't matter anywhere near as much as fit. Doesn't matter how much it cost, if it don't fit your head it won't work

I'm much rather have this £120 lid and know I can afford to buy another if I have to, than spend £300 on an Arai or Shoei and not be able to afford to replace it. They're all safe enough, and anything over £100 that fits my noggin is good enough for me.

I don't think I've got an Arai shaped head anyway

It's pretty much down to two contenders now..

Z750

and an FZ6

The Z is edging it for looks and riding position, as well as that apparently it's much torquier... I don't want to have to rev the tits off my road bike, I get enough of that on the MX track!

BUT the FZ6 is much more sindy friendly when/if it comes to her riding pillion.

I'm buying it for me though not for her, and my dad had a perch on the pillion of the Z and said it would be fine for around town.

I won't be taking her anywhere on it for at least six months anyway I should imagine.
