I know a few on here have PDA phones
Ive just flashed my HTC Hermes (Orange SPV M3100) with a WM6 rom and upgraded the radio rom and all i can say is woooow It is so much faster than WM5 and with the new radio im getting a better signal Ive loaded all the software i was running back on including TomTom 6 and ive not had to soft reset since ...i was resetting twice a day sometimes with WM5 Its very safe to flash these phones now as the bootloader will allow you to flash agian if it fails ........you wont end up with a brick Last edited by 8 I3ALL; 12-04-2007 at 01:43. |

Oooh, didn't know this was out. I've got WM5 on my PDA so I'd be interested in looking at this. If things go wrong I can always do a factory reset to get it back the way it is, I don't really have anything on it I'd be worried about losing, it's all on the memory card.

I've done it before, seemed to work on the Axim, though what would happen to a botched upgrade I don't quite know.

There was an official mobile 5 update for the Axim which I acquired, but the Axims are discontinued now so dont expect one to surface for WM6. I wouldn't want to try getting a generic rom working on it personally.
