I'm pretty much alternating between the following new albums at the moment:

Porcupine Tree - Fear of a Blank Planet
Marillion - Somewhere Else
LCD Soundsystem - Sound of Silver
Maxïmo Park - Our Earthly Pleasures

with random King Crimson and Pink Floyd making occasional appearances.

Stevie Ray Vaughan - Live at Montreux 1982 and 1985 (current track: Pride and Joy)
Followed by Riding with the king - Eric Clapton and BB King.

There are a number of bands that i've missed out on. One of these has just come on my mp3 player, snow patrol - warmer climate.

Not usually something that I would listen to, but it is a good song.

Love Snow Patrol, a great sounding band with lyrics to match

Recently picked up The Fray's new album which I really like, highly unoffensive and easy to listen to in the vein of Maroon 5, Counting Crows and The Feeling

Random old faves played on my phone through my house system, all stolen & downloaded via the interweb. Marvelous
Fave tune of the mo is the tune from Pulp fiction, it's the tune they play when Jonny T takes that bint home who gets ****ed up by sniffing smack. That tune roxs my world.

I AM A PIRATE, Pikey the Pirate, i like it

I like Snow Patrol lyrically, and musically to an extent, however I was getting bored by the end of their last album; much like I did with Keane's first album. The sound was just getting repetitive (Snow Patrol seem to like that "down strum only, on the beat every beat" thing; Keane just had that piano thing going for the entire album)
Hopefully their next stuff will show a bit more variation in style

I agree, Maroon 5 are terrible live. I remember watching American Idol a couple of months back and they performed and were SO bad. You couldn't even pin it to poor accoustics etc..
