Dropping star power is the key, and probably where you drop notes is key. If you drop one just before you're meant to be deploy star power then it will seriously hinder your score, but I'd imagine if it were inbetween star power sections (with enough room to get back up to a 4x multi) then it might not matter so much.

Heh, you played Killing in the Name Of yet Davey? Wasn't sure how that's be a 500k song, though I am confused no more!

This sixth tier really is my favourite I think. Crazy on You, Killing in the Name of, Dead and the others - Great fun to play on any level.

Not yet, not on Expert, though I hope to get that far tonight

Next hurdle is Freya. The middle third or so is uite challenging, needing to jump right across the fret board, then chord, and back again in quick sucession - for a good 30 seconds. Good song, but testing.

I'm having to take a break now, as Crazy On You is driving me insane. I've tried it at least 15 times and only once managed to get past the ******* intro. If I don't stop now I think I'm going to break something, possibly the guitar.

Done some of the others on that tier, had a couple more goes of Crazy, and failed, so had a go at Freya, and failed that too, around 34% so I think possibly the same place you have trouble Daz. I shouldn't be too surprised though, I go this fair through Expert with not many difficulties, and they should be challenging. Practise mode beckons tomorrow I reckon.

Oh, and out of interest I created a new band and went straight into Expert and 5*'d Heart Shaped Box, and got $1800 for it. I guess you get double or triple the money if you haven't completed the song on lower difficulties. At least when GH3 comes out the only reason we may have to go through the other difficulties is for the achievements, if we're good enough to get enough money through Expert

Edit: And I dislike this guy intensely - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uOGF3...elated&search=

Exactly what I was talking about earlier - bar the intro it didn't give me much trouble, yet Jessica had me stumped for ages while you coasted through it Mr 4 stars

Nay, I get stuck around 60/70%. You'll see what I mean when you get there. Its' not that it's particularly complicated, it's just a small, difficult move to pull off again, and again, and again..... Not reached the end of it yet :/

I got past the intro once and was cruising, had star power stored, and totally screwed up the fast series of notes before the chorus. If I'd got past it, or used the star power to do it, I've no doubts I'd have finished the song. I just need to get the intro sorted and I'll be fine.

After watching the video I sometimes wonder why we have so much trouble, he makes it look so easy. Some more practise is needed and we'll be rock gods!
