We were saying earlier how August - December is looking absolutely packed. If they throw a price drop on the console around when Halo 3 comes out (which is likely anyway given the age of the console), the holiday sales are likely to be pretty impressive for MS.

aye I agree, apart from RE4 my gamecube saw little action. With the 360 though there is so much cool stuff on the way

I've got 4 titles to buy so far

Off the top of my head, I want: Mass Effect, Blue Dragon, Eternal Sonata, Overlord, Fable 2 and Assassins Creed.
That's before taking into account games I've forgotten about, and games I want but haven't bought yet like Rainbow Six Vegas and Condemned for example.

And that's also excluding the fun games I just want to rent or buy cheap just to get the points for and enjoy briefly

The 360 is definietly my most played console since well the Xbox

Its got a great selection of games coming up, and a great selection already out. Its just a good solid console.

Persistence got me so close... in Mad Tracks. 1:15 to beat, 1:15:75 was my time, 96'th quickest on the leaderboards, only 81 people have beaten it :/ 40 point achievement that, biggie for an arcade game.

It's my most played console since the PS1 which is a huge honour considering how much I loved the PS1, the FF series, Suikoden, Star Ocean 2 etc etc.
I actually deprived my X-Box hugely

Shadowrun up and running on the PC. Runs really well, I'm surprised considering the rig is nearly 2 years old. Warned me about the processor running too slow and I had to manually change the power settings, but other than that it's seemless, as is Live. Took ages to download the profile (like it did with your profile on my 360 Davey), but after that it really is good. Just no difference at all, everything works like it does on the 360.

Hopefully it'll run on the laptop, all be it at low settings.
