How fantastic was that episode of Dr Who? It only took 11 episodes of this season to produce a truly brilliant episode. Genuinely scary with some brilliant comedic moments and a good plot. Nice throw back to BTTF too. I think it also helped that the main character, Sally Sparrow, was lovely to watch. I wish she was the Dr's companion instead of the current one who has essentially been useless this series playing "I'm not Billie." If only it could be this damn good every week.

I really enjoyed it too. I loved how it panned out, and I agree, the girl would be a perfect companion. Hopefully we'll see her again.

Yeah, best episode of Doctor Who for ages. Loved it. Sally Sparrow was hot too.

I wouldn't say the current assistant was useless, certainly not in the two episodes before

But I couldn't stand Billie Piper as she didn't seem to be able to act to save her life most of the time and was intensely irritating in her 'oh woe is me, I'm in trouble yet again b/c I was stupid and did something you told me not to do'

But this episode was brilliant

I've really been enjoying this season, it just gets better and better.

I really preferred Billie to Martha "You're not Rose" Jones. She was good in the previous 2 episodes but other than that I dunno. Now I can't see her being used that much in the next with Cap'n Scooby Doo.

I thought this was one of the better ones recently.. I'm not sure of these single episodes.. Dr Who used to be about the suspense and have to wait to next week. How is he going to get out of this one? This doesn't apear to be the appeal anymore.
