How much to pay for an Xbox360 core system?
Guy at work is selling one, brand new, never been used. It's a freebie that he got for signing up a phone contract.
What should I offer him? I have absolutely no idea what they're worth or what he's likely to accept as mates rates. I have until tomorrow to do the deal, need quick advice.....

You can find it online for £150 (Boots online and somewhere else, I forget), so at most that. Though that's already very cheap, possibly only a special offer.
[edit]They were offers and they've now expired: http://www.hotukdeals.com/forums/sea...archid=1478653 So I'd say £150. Though be prepared to pay out for a memory card or hard drive if you actually want to use it.

That's really quite cheap compared to a year ago.

£50/25% off retail price, for a brand new box it's fair.

I've offered him £75, he turned it down immediately but he's looking at prices and he may waver.

Stonking bargain if he relents. Even at £100 it'd still be excellent value.

Hah hah, he just asked me if he could buy it back (I got it for £100 in the end). I advised him a big fat 'no', but that my brother who is just sorting out a phone contract may be able to sell him one for £120!
