I come back from a break away to find my Creative inspire 6700 5.1 speaker setup has gone to the great peripheral dump in the sky. A resurrection was attempted, but in its final act of defiance, the expensive smoke was released, so I am now speakerless.
![]() Obviously with money being a little tight now I have committed to buy a router, what is recommended on a bit of a budget to match the quality? I was thinking maybe the P6060 or the P5900 from Creative, what are your thoughts guys? I like good quality, but don't usually play it at full volume.

I've had a set of P580s for the last 3 years... basic 5.1 system that cost me £40 and sound really good...

I've just today bought a set of Creative T20s, they're a 2.0 system (no sub) which was why I bought them, but so far they're going pretty well, I'm pleased with them

Now Altec Lansing used to make damn good speaker setups
http://www.dabs.com/productview.aspx...ey=11122,50665 Or there is a set of logitechs http://www.dabs.com/productview.aspx...ey=11122,50550 Might be worth considering how much a home cinema setup is, ie one of those all one one jobs. I'm not certain what your budget is but I managed to get a cinema setup for £160 from comet down from £350 and it spanks most speaker setups (this was 5 years ago) |
