Level 18 now I think, coming along nicely. I bought a Lotus and spent about 50k fitting it all out - It's a bit rapid now even with lots of downforce to help on the cornering.

The ratty old Porsche I was given and am using in the Porsche specific race is awful though, it wallows all over the place and getting it through that sharp right corner onto the infield section of Silverstone is a nightmare.

The 1974 911? I dropped a GT2 engine in it and bought all the handing mods and spanking new tyres. It was a little tail happy but beyond that it was very easy to win the races as it was just so much faster than anything else.

I'm not too high on credits after having bought and fitted the Lotus so I'm trying to do as much as I can now with cars at stock or with just a few cheap mods. It's quite rewarding to win races from a fair way back in the field even on 'novice' level!

The best mods you can do (IMHO) are the weight reduction and the handling mods. The weight reduction will give you a good acceleration increase without kicking up your HP (important for some events) while the braking and handling mods will allow you to brake later and therefore be faster around the track. They're the ones I generally do if I don't want to spend too much on a car.

Beware though that the full weight reduction will generally increase your car class (often by 2 classes), so if the event if class specific you'd be better improving elsewhere first.

If you want some good cars then do the factory spec races, they aren't too hard and all the cars are exactly the same spec

Do the first couple they release some top motors, also try and win the ab Flug RX7 that thing flies with low HP and handles well so will get you the HP based semi pro races easily, just mod it up to just below the next level each time and go racing.

Working on a South Park car. Still have to add detail to the right hand side, and more to the top. Here's the basics of it (minus a lot of stuff) on my F430.

Gonna make 5 of them, all a bit different. When it's done, you can request a personalised one, see if you can beat some of the people on the other side to one. They will all be free as well, icluding any extra stuff you want added, the others will be charged, just because I love you lot more

I'm missing the knowledge of how to take photographs and then once taken, get them out of the 360.

Still having lots of fun with this, my Lancia is getting more and more tricked up and has just won the 400HP series, beating a lot of cars which really are a bit more special than a ratty old hatchback. LMF saw the car I was driving and couldn't believe it and called it an "old banger". My reply "yeah, but it's a quick old banger"

There's something very satisfying in winning races in it.

When you take a photo it should ask you if you wish to upload it to the Forza website. Say yes, then go to http://forzamotorsport.net/default.htm and log in to the site with your Xbox profile, and you'll have access to your last 5 photos
