Hmm, it's taken it, and overwrote my 12 month sub with 1 month on the account management screen, but if I go to billing.microsoft.com and check the dates I have a new end date: "14/01/2008", and I'm sure I had gold before then.

Ok, added on the second month and my new end date is '14/02/2008'. It says 1 month pre-paid card on the account screen rather than 12 months, but other than that it looks ok to me

I no longer have month cards to lend to friends, but never mind!

Strange, maybe there's different types? Think mine came with PES6 but wouldn't work alongside my gold copy

Perhaps there are actually trial cards, and some are legit pre-paid 1 month gold, which both mine were labelled as (1 came with arcade unplugged, 1 with Shadowrun).

I got a one month when I sent the 360 off to MS for fixing and I added it straight way before the other one expire, no problem at all and it just extended the expiry date by a month

My drought of games has ended

Just ordered Just Cause and Football Manager 2007 off ebay for about £12 each, and at the end of the week I'm trading in about 17 X-Box and PS1 games and an X-Box so hoping that'll get me a game or two.
I'm half considering GH2, something about it is making me want it but I can't decide because of the price mainly

That or Dirt, as I loved the demo.
