After a bluetooth Ipod docking all in one hifi thingy and more... help!
Right guys, i'm looking for an all in one mini hifi esque thingy for my room, but i've got a lot of requirements and i don't think one exists to fit my criteria...
Requirements: Bluetooth A2DP Radio Ipod Dock Alarm vaguely loud at 30w> (ie looking at a subwoofer 2.1 style) Would like: remote (would be very handy on lazy days!) CD/Mp3 player (really not that fussed on this, but i guess if they have all the above this will be as standard haha) Any ideas if anything fits? Best i have so far are: http://www.i-luv.com/iLuv/product_in...roducts_id=260 Has everything except alarm and bluetooth http://www.i-luv.com/iLuv/product_in...roducts_id=305 That does literally EVERYTHING but doesn't have much in the bass department and im worried laptop tinny sounding poop would eventually kill me... http://kinyo.com/press-0107docking.htm 100w 2.1 docking speaker system but no alarm But thats looking good, although i guess thats probably gonna cost a lot more than the two above which are $150 and less.. Any ideas i'm trying to free myself of wires (the usual really!) Cheers |

Right i've found it!
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16882695007 But, its $209 (~£100!) over the water, and £250 this side. Doesn't seem overly fair to me . I can only find it in Dixons (for £250) so if anyone knows anywhere else in the UK i'd much appriciate it! That or i better start hoarding flakes for Darrin possibly Last edited by LeperousDust; 24-07-2007 at 20:18. |

TBH I think the iLUV looks better, I've had a pair of Yamaha speakers not much bigger than the ones in that unit and they were fine, also the ones in the Bose Wave [spit] are pretty much that size and that has good bass.

I don't know what to believe though, wattage isn't everything, but the iLuv has two 6watt tweeters and thats it plus its a lot bigger and my room at home is far from big, after bed table and chair it's cramped at best! Now the iSymphony has two 10w tweeters and a 25w sub too with a sub out (in case i really want to add something later on for a little more cheap low end). On top of that it can be wall mounted above my bed and left out the way not taking up precious table space!
So anyway apart from size, i can only imagine the iSymphony having a slightly wider spectrum... They both work out roughly the same price too |

Ooooh, i'd love you to kitten if that's possible, when are you making the journey? On second thoughts to save you hassle i'll pay your Aunt to just ship it over here, if she's ok with that? It can't cost that much can it? Well less than £150 i'm saving anyways...
