My advice to anyone thinking about a tattoo, is to think long and hard. Follow advice from the school of Piggy "look at the imagine every day". Then bloody well go for it, my mum says "you will regret it when you are 50" i personally want to have things to regret. |

My first tattoo I got when I was 17. Had a tattooist friend who came into our shop who agreed to not only do it undersage, but half price as well as my little sister paid for it. Went to the parlour with my Dad and chose one, thought about it for months and then got it done. It was a fire and ice ying yang on my left shoulder blade, kind of represents me tbh. I show it off when I wear halter necks but it's hidden under most other things.
Next I have a celtic band with a single red rose put around my ankle. I had fallen in love with the design and spent a long time making sure it was what I wanted before having it done. I can show it when I wear short pants or skirts, but is hidden under trousers. Third was a design on my lower back that I designed. Took months to perfect and months to make sure I was making the right decision. Spent a long time with the tattooist as well to make sure he understood exactly how I wanted it including the fading of colour at the edges. Took hours and hours of tatooing because of the fading too! I show this one off when wearing belly tops but it's easily hidden as well. Finally I had a purple rose with another black celtic symbol done on my left thigh. It represented spontaneity as I saw it and had it done within hours. I plan to get it extended some day (which is why I chose the design in the first place) so I have a rose vine from my ankle, winding up my leg and onto my hip. This one only gets shown when I wear a skirt or flash people when I'm drunk! 10 years since I got my very first one and I still love them all.

Ahh you forgot to say it is a camo duck, as if this explains anything about it.
'scuse the manky feet, this was just after they had been done. For some reason photobucket don't like my feet either I though, oh it won't hurt. So so wrong officially hurt more than anything else in the whole world. I have really sensitive thin skin over that part of my ankle. (Has anyone else ever tried to take a picture of their ankles, it is really hard) Last edited by Blackstar; 18-09-2007 at 19:24. |

Mine have all been drawn up and done by Emma Grech of Lady Luck Tattoo Studio in Fawcett Road. She has also done all of Mics. I do have some pics of them all online but I've been meaning to take some better ones so I'll do that tonight I'm sure I'll post something more helpful when I wake up |
