Got 49/50 achievements! Just have to go through it on hard now. At least I won't have to worry about diaries, finding every tonic and taking a million photographs when I do it!

Nice one dude. I'll be going through it on Hard soon enough, but I'll be aiming to get all the diaries and weapon stations on the same playthrough, as great as it is I'm not sure I could go through it 3 times.

I'm planning on another play through soon too, not sure if it'll be on hard though, I might leave that for a third play through after I get the other achievements like the inventing one and the secret ones.

A downside of this though was that the first time I played it I saved all the little sisters to get the achievements, and this time I had to save them all anyway otherwise you don't get the bonus tonics they leave, so still haven't seen the alternative ending. Next time I can just play through getting just the tonics I want, skipping all the non-storyline diaries, and harvesting to my heart's content! It's weird going through and killing Big Daddies with three frags, or a couple of crossbow traps. Doesn't feel right somehow, they should be double hard!

I was quite lucky on my first playthrough in that I wasn't achievement hunting, yet still managed to get all but three of the achievements (and I couldn't get one as I was playing on normal). Playing on easy does sound a little too easy perhaps, the Big Daddies should be a challenge, they shouldn't go down easy. Hard should certainly be a nice challenge

It's a great game but I think that sums it up pretty well. |

Nice vid! Some funny stuff, especially the jumping and hacking bit.
Playing through on hard now, and just done the bit where you have to collect the enzyme samples in the farmer's market. Had my ass handed to me a number of times because you can't collect and defend yourself at the same time... especially as there's a countdown for when the bees come back! Big Daddies with the rail-type guns are lethal on hard. *BANG* first aid! *BANG* first aid!...

Ahhhh 2 big daddies in succession.. then a little sister with two big daddies I led the third into a room where I set up two rocket terminals but instead I led them straight into the path of a spare one. Within 20 minutes I eliminated 3 little sisters and four big daddies lol I can get on with the level now.
Spoiler Alert! - Highlight below to read! I defeated these with armer piericing bullets in the pistol.. Don't discard thr pistol! then throwing Rage at one of them and at the other splicers.. got myself killed and waited inside the respawn pod thingy, which was right next to the fight. They couldn't get me in there so I watch the carnage from a safe damge.. then repeat - lol !! End Spoiler Alert!
