Default Canon EF 24-105mm F5

Hi,

Does any know where I can get some info on the web about the above lens.
it is not a USM or IS version.
Is there a site that has reviews on old kit ?

Also any one know of a camera repair place / person in Essex. As I have a Minolta Vetis 40 APS camera I would to have fixed.

Many thanks

Google thinks it doesn't exist. Are you sure it's F5? (F4 gets lots of results, F5 gets none).

There's only the Canon 24-105 IS L f/4. A solid lens but I prefer the Canon 24-70 f/2.8 L because it works better in low-light and has nicer depth of field for portraits.

I brought the 24-105 ( which is non USM ) when I was using my Canon EOS 50E 35mm SLR.
now on my 400D the lens is up scaled by 60%, which is not a bad think.
It is small and light, so is a good lens if you need to be light with equipment.
