Pretty intense?
2 hours after the final whistle and , um, *cough* beers later my knuckles are still white!

Well done to England, France simply didn't deserve to win that match. Perhaps it was because I had nothing really invested in the match but I didn't find it all that exciting watching the match itself, the reaction of the people around me however....
I hope tomorrows match, well todays now, is good. I'd like to see South Africa do it but either way I hope it is entertaining.

It would be very interesting if (when) South Africa win tomorrow.
In the match 3 weeks ago England weren't even playing, but if they play how they have for the last two matches then it'll actually be a challenge and should be a good game. It'll be a good final anyway because the England team have something to prove. I imagine me and Simon will get quite drunk whatever happens

Oh dear, as Fabien Pelous said so well at the end of that game: "we tried to play an English style of rugby, and guess what? they happen to be better than we are at it"

Having lost their last game to both South Africa and Argentina England have something to prove against both sides.
Personally I want the Boks in the final. Not because I think it will be an easier game but because the misery of that pool game is still fresh in my mind. Vengeance. That's what I want. Red hot, shame expunging, fiery vengeance. (I'd make a lousy Jedi)

England deserved to win that as I feel they kept it together better. France did well not to let that try affect their game. I was screaming at the tv - a good match, still disappointed at the result though. England better bloody well win or else I shall be pretty pissed off. Still France have a chance for 3rd place - not a bad result 3rd in the world - and we beat NZ something I'm very proud about. I hope SA get through as that will be a good final - but SA are SO strong I fear we may not have what it takes to beat them
